
The first International Schools Physical Fitness Competition was held today at the 2,000-seat Shahid Heydarian Sports Hall in Qom. This event, which saw the participation of 70 students from 15 different nationalities, brought a truly international atmosphere to sports in Qom.
The competition was organized to mark Student Day, with collaboration between Monji International School and the FitShow Club. Athletes from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Lebanon, Canada, Australia, India, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sudan, Nigeria, and Oman competed in three age categories: 10-12 years, 13-15 years, and 16-18 years.
At the end, the top athletes in each age category were announced:
- Age 10-12: Murtaza Ali Agha (Pakistan), Syed Hadi Mousavi (India), Hasnain Naqi (Pakistan)
- Age 13-15: Al Kazem Al Ahmed (Saudi Arabia), Hossein Nasour (Australia), Hossein Baghdadi (Lebanon)
- Age 16-18: Mohammad Javad Ghazi (India), Mehdi Hossein Saeedi (Pakistan), Syed Shahadat Hossein (Pakistan)
